Random Card

I found this card on my camera when I went to upload some photos. I think it was a quick card to go along with my Mother's Day cards to my husbands staff? Hmm...

NSD Challenge # 12

I have to say that I should have known that I would absolutely LOVE the Create a Critter cartridge when Robyn was gushing about how much she loved it! We usually get super excited about the same things! I also used her new stamps Punny-licious stamps!

NSD Challenge # 10

I just got some pictures from Easter printed so I was so excited that I could use them to do this page! I also think that this shattered a record for me in getting my pics in a layout so soon after. My daughter is 5 and I am about 3-4 years behind on all of hers and my son is two and I have maybe the first 6 months of his pictures done.

NSD Challenge # 9

I had a lot of fun with this challenge. My mom loves hedgehogs and I am loving the Create a Critter cartridge! I made this card using my Gypsy.

NSD Challenge # 8

I think that this was the hardest challenge for me! This is what I came up with.

NSD Challenge # 6

My daughter LOVES to scrapbook with me even though she is only 5. I usually make a space for her and she has her own bucket of "supplies" (my scraps, crayons, safety sissors etc.) Well in honor of this challenge I let her choose something to make and the colors.  She loves mermaids right now and I don't have Ariel so we used this mermaid from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge. She loved it and helped me glue it down. The only thing she didn't like was the way I drew the nose. We had fun!

NSD Challenge # 4

This is from the Cars cartridge. The challenge was to use your least favorite or least used cartridge. When the Cars cartridge came out I just thought I had to have it because I was sure I would use it a ton because I had a little boy.  I had yet to use it. So I pulled it out. I decided to make this particular one because we seem to be running around 100 mph. So this is just a reminder to slow it down and little and enjoy life!

NSD Challenge # 1

This is the card that I made for my MOM! I used the Preserves cartridge for the strawberries and My Pink Stampers Family and Friends stamps!

NSD Challenge # 2

For this challenge I did a simple page layout. I  used my scraps as a mat for my journal square and for the strip on the side of my page.

NSD Challenge # 5

For this challenge I made a book of all the sight words that my daughter's preschool teacher gave her. She is so excited to be going to kindergarten!

Baby Shower

I had a triple baby shower to go to this week and I needed some cards to go with the gifts. I made this card super simple because I was in a time crunch. The Baby stamp is from one of Robyn's  (My Pink Stamper) new stamp sets. You will all love them! My paper was all from Stampin Up.

I also found this cute tin at Target in the dollar section and originally I got it because I thought I would be able to put the baby gifts is them. They were just a little to small for the gifts so I decided I would just bring some boy colored treats!

Notebooks

I made these books for some people in my church who just lost a family member. It was a very sad situation and we wanted our youth to be able to write them some notes. The youth were wonderful and we all hope that these books will help the people know that they are loved as well as in our thoughts and prayers.

Update and some pictures!

I have been super busy trying to catch up on office stuff and keep up with the day to day life as a mom, wife and business owner.  I have a mixed blessing this week in that our normal childcare had to take this week off. That meant that I got the week of from helping my husband with his business!!! I get to just be a mom this week!!!!! I know that there will be things to catch up on next week but I am enjoying this week. I thought that I would post a couple of pictures of some recent things that I have done and what my scrap space look like right now. (It is really a work in progress) I hope to get it all in order this week and then I will know where everything is and then I can be more inspired and get more done when I go in there.  I hope everyone is having a great day!
This is the page I made at Robyn's for her challenge that she did the Sunday before I left her house.

These are the place cards that I made 167 of!! They are very simple and I learned not to say yes unless I know how many I need to make! I had two and a half days to get these done.

I was in such a hurry I was just tossing them in this bin as I went! Wow what a job:)

Here is what my room looks like currently! What a mess!

Wish "Shoe" A Happy Day

Here is a video that I did while I was at Robyn's house. I love crafting in her Pink Loft because I feel so inspired. I have been a runner most of my life so I LOVE to see things with shoes! When I saw these on the Paisley Cartridge I just had to make something with them and then I saw Robyn's great stamp! The cards came together great and of course they are in my favorite colors!

I used Robyn's cardstock and didn't think to write down the colors or where she got them from but it would be safe to bet Stampin' UP or Papertrey Ink. I used Prima flowers and button brads. And the Ribbon was from Papertrey Ink.

Thirsty Like a Hippo

As I was putting my kids to sleep tonight my daughter was bawling because she wanted a drink. This was like the 20th "I wanna..." so I told her she couldn't. (I know soo mean) Her bawling reply was "I'm thirsty like a hippo" Kids crack me up!!!!!

Adventures of Robyn and Karlee

If you haven't seen it yet Robyn and I brought along her flip video yesterday when we went out and did some scrapbook shopping!!! So check out www.mypinkstamper.com to see our fun! We had a blast shopping and hanging out. We have been working on videos today as much as we could. My son got sick last night so we had an added challenge today of trying to tape with him here wanting me, but we did get some done and will have some more videos up later. Remember that tomorrow night, Friday we are going to be doing a My Pink Stamper Live show and we hope to see you all there.

Happy St Patrick's Day

I hope that everyone has had a good St. Patrick's Day! I was soooo exhausted because I went in to work last night to help out and only got a couple hours of sleep. About an hour before my DD's preschool started I remembered that she was supposed to bring a Leprechaun trap! And so the paper started flying. She had some very distinctive thoughts on how this should look. It actually turned out kinda cute, most importantly she loved it. I thought I would share it with you.

Between unpacking...

While in the middle of unpacking I had to do a few projects. Here they are..
I had to make Valentines for my daughters preschool class so I threw together these little goodie bags. I used Robyn's stamp line for all but the to & from. They were quick and easy and my daughter loved them. She is a huge fan of pink and green so I think that helped.

I work with the young woman in our church and we made pages to highlight one of the special programs that we did. We had a lot of fun and the girls were so creative!

My New Space- The Beginning

Wow life is still crazy. I had thought that the minute I had internet again I would have all of these pictures up. Anyway here are some pictures of my new room.
This is a view of my room empty (well at least the biggest angle that I could get)!

My daughter was being helpful in this one but here is one of my piles of stuff to be unpacked.

I have these great built in shelves that I just started to put things on. This is sooo not how they are staying but helpful to have some things out until I can get things set up how I want them.

My daughter was helping get things unpacked while my son was napping. It made things a little more stressful because of my great little "helping" hands but she had fun. While we were unpacking it started to snow. You can't really tell in this picture but it made our day. We were in this cluttered space and all of the sudden it was more relaxing to be able to unpack while watching the snow fall.

I am making progress on my room and hopefully I will have it all done soon. I made a big dent in getting the house unpacked this weekend and so things are looking up.

I am back

I finally got my internet back! It has been a battle getting it going again. It is amazing how much I thought I didn't use the internet but it seem like every time I turned around I was needing to get on and do something. LOL! I am slowly getting unpacked and I hope that I can get some pictures up of my new space in the works. I am still working on getting my room ready but I have a few things out. I "had" to make things for my son's bithday and for Valentine. What is more important? Unpacking or Crafting?? I am trying to balance both.

Some Cards

I started packing my scrapbook room :( today and now I am taking a break. I thought I would post some cards that I made with Robyn's new stamps! I have a lot of birthdays this month so most of these are for that but there are a couple that are for people who help us move. I will write thank you notes in them for all of the people who help us.
This one is versatile. I can either use it as a thank you for moving or a change of address card.
These cards are from Sweethearts and I was just playing around and found a bunch of ways I could use these cards and the envelopes below.

I have a niece that likes butterflies, pink and flowers. The butterfly is one of Robyn's stamps that I stamped the body in black and the wings in pink and then I used stickles to top it off and to make the trail from the flower. The flower is from Forever Young. The ribbon and paper are from Papertrey Ink.

I used the same idea for this card for my sister in law. The stamps says "Sweet Wishes"
This one is from Camp Out solutions and is for my brother in laws.
I can use this card for at thank you and I also have one that has Happy Birthday for my son.
I made this book to put my daughters birthday pictures in it and I have a little stamp and cut out on each page.
This card was for my husband's birthday. He is a diehard baseball fan!!
This is the card that I made for my daughter.

An end to CHA/ Birthday weekend :(

Hey!! I had a great time at CHA (once I got there)! I also had a lot of fun doing the pink pajama party, and meeting all of Robyn's fans that came. It was a great birthday weekend with Robyn and now I have to get home and move!! I have some things packed but now I have to finish it up. I hope that I can get my new space up and going quickly. I will some pics before, during and after setup and share them. Thanks to everyone for all of the well wished in my crazy journey out to CHA and for being such awesome supporters!!!! I know that Robyn and I enjoyed meeting everyone that we did and wished that we could meet all of you. Hopefully one day we can!

Wall Cork Board

It is finally done! I am not as quick as Robyn and I definitely have a lot more to
learn about filming and editing.
Also, making video's without Robyn is NOT AS MUCH FUN!!!
I am not sure why the video is cut off a little if you watch it from here, but if you double click on the video you can view the whole screen.

My Space (for now)

I wanted to take a picture of my space before I have to break it down. I am moving!!!! I am so excited! We found a house that we can rent instead of the small condo we are in right now. I can't wait to buy a house and be able to paint but renting this house is the next best thing. I will have a room just to me! Not a corner!!! Yeah!

Home

I made it home safely with only one delay in flights!!!! I am working on getting caught back up with life! I did make it to the store today and got all my supplies to make a board like the one we made for Robyn! I will be doing a video on it later this week! But while you are waiting for that I thought I would post a couple of things I did before Christmas! I

I made this Snowman book to go along with the gifts we gave my DH's employees! I made it like a postcard and then attached personalized notes with a ribbon!
I got this idea from my sister in law! I made this for my DD's preschool teacher! I used red hots in the tin but any little red treat would work!
