As I was putting my kids to sleep tonight my daughter was bawling because she wanted a drink. This was like the 20th "I wanna..." so I told her she couldn't. (I know soo mean) Her bawling reply was "I'm thirsty like a hippo" Kids crack me up!!!!!

Kids are so funny...Iremember when my son used to sat he was watching me with the white of his eyes, lol instead w/the corner of his eye. that used to crack me up. I hope you got home alright, 12 hours is a very long and tiring drive.

I forgot, the funny thing about kids and bedtime hassles, is when you watch your children having the same hassels from their children! lol and I laughed every time, shaking my head when I hear the same words I used with them! It feels odd hearing your words come out of your adult children's mouths! Holy cow am I old!!!
